Breakthrough News!  

Is a site near you under threat. Were the vacant plots on them advertised in the last three years?  Are they being replaced? Is the money from the sale coming back to the allotment movement?  Is your allotment site or any site you know under threat? If so you must act quickly to stop these sites from disapearing. Please get in contact and let us know. The following Statutory sites are currently under consideration for closure.

Hard Lane, Merseyside	St Helens MBC	CONSENT NOT REQUIRED	Easement over land required by National Grid Gas.
Hollywell Avenue, Derbyshire	Amber Valley Borough Council - Codnor Parish Council	GRANTED	Sale of vacant land for development purposes. i.i community nursing facility, childrens play area, improved footpaths and lighting and improved security with better access for vehicles delivering fertilzers etc to the other allotments adjacent to the application site.
Kingsclere, Newbury	Berkshire County Council - Kingsclere Parish Council	UNDER CONSIDERATION	Sale for residential development.
Westborough, Surrey	Guildford Borough Council	CLARIFICATION BEING SORT/UNDER CONSIDERATION	Sale of feehold interest for car parking provision for allotment holders.
